The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
